Games where the main character is an animal. Not a funny, talking animal (Roxky from Pocky & Rocky), nor an anthropomorphic animal (Star Fox), and definitely not a furry (Sonic). Just a normal, sometimes not so normal animal doing animal things, like saving the world, I guess (Ecco).

To avoid confusion, here's what I mean by funny animals etc:

- Funny animal: if it's an animal with mostly correct proportions and all, but it never shuts up (and sometimes even is understood by humans), wears human clothing or walks on two legs despite being four legged

- Anthropomorphic animal: not only does it talk and walk on two legs, its proportions are much more human-like than whatever animal-like it's supposed to be.

- Furry: it's a human turned animal or maybe just a human using an animal suit.
