Games I Played / Beat This Year - 2022

Thoughts on This Year:
My best year for video games by far. I played more games new to me than any year of my life so far - games that surprised me, and games that I had been wanting to play for AGES. I played a lot of different kinds of games this year, which definitely affirmed my love for this medium. So many games this year evoked something out of me, Inscryption had me on the edge of my seat, Getting Over It taught me patience, Yume Nikki broke down what I thought a game could be, Super Mario 64 was a look into the era where 3D games got their start - I cried by the end of multiple games on this list, and I had so much fun with a large majority of them.
I'm super happy with this repertoire of experiences I had with these games this year, it's been a year that inspired me to search for more games to love!
