If Nintendo weren't cowards they'd bring back the inward drifting bike mechanics from this game but they hate fun so they removed it.
You will either REALLY HATE the "twist" in this game, or be mostly confused/stunned and unsure what to think. I would recommend going back through the events of the game with it in mind and seeing how insane of a person Uchikoshi is. Better more intuitive puzzle design, same good characters/voice acting/world.

Very good game, has a lot of shit in it. Contextual dialogue is insanely loaded, I've done 200+ runs and only around hour 150 or so did dialogue start looping/becoming generic. Until then NPCs in the hub usually had something new to say.
