The "How can we make the main character seem like a fucking freak while also being the most understandable character" visual novel

did you see the part where you had to scoop that baby homunculus out of that shell thing and juice it? pretty fucked up right..
anyway, my tv dinner is finished microwaving, i think i'll watch family guy and laugh with my mouth full of food.
what was this game about again?

Would be a perfect game, but dang that triforce part was such a chore and mindless sailing on the sea was a chore. Other than that the game was fantastic

I'm not entirely sure I liked the campaign's ending arc which wrapped up all of starcraft's as much as I liked just the parts that focused on the smaller Protoss story, but I enjoyed the gameplay throughout the entire thing. Also fun to play some of the extra co-op missions with friends

So many countless hours of fun on xbox and pc with this game

as good as lego games get, i never got to play it a second time. my neighbor stole it just before he moved back to Cambodia.

looking back on it, I never beat the campaign for this one.

I have fond memories of this game. I have played very little of reforged

a paragon of effort-averse loser culture. couldn't last twelve minutes in this irreverent filth.

Excelente historia.

This was the first pokemon game I ever beat I think.

I played through the first arc that the game had global. I think that the game had good character writers who understood the characters they were working with and leaned into the crossover-nature of the game to get interesting interactions and dynamics. I sure wish some other mobile crossover game of a certain longstanding strategy series that's 17 or so games deep would do the same. . . ya know, hypothetically.
Rip Global. Also my first tales game

Great game with a compelling story. Unfortunately, the game has some annoying mechanics such as climbing up ladders/pipes or turning valves, which comes with a slow animation and interrupts the gameplay. Towards the end of the game, some of the levels also became quite confusing and it took me countless attempts to get to the destination. The fights are also totally annoying, I don't know if it's the console version or just me, but I rarely managed to disarm the enemies. For me personally, the sequel is a much better game, even if the fan community probably doesn't see it that way.

While it has some enjoyable titles, I am personally not a fan of any of the Game Gear games. I feel this collection could've been stronger had it not focused so heavily on them, the Mega collection released on the same consoles is just superior in every way.
And with better ways to access most of this collection through emulation or other releases, this is really just the Sonic the Fighters disc.

This game poisoned our water supply, burned our crops and delivered a plague unto our houses, also no battle frontier just play emerald

You get to control giant space bugs during the campaign (well, and also during the game) so W. The story was fine I guess

consistently sets the bar low, and misses it by miles. developed by insufferable narcissists and the culturally entrenched. what could've been a fortuitous second attempt failed miserably, and is now akin to a shriveled worm on the pavement after a light forgettable rain.

I play this game to play the single player campaign.

Walking simulator with light puzzle elements would be an apt description. But the way the narrative is spun out through a sequence of different personalities really made this game feel full and interesting. A worthy couple of hours.

pc port is way too buggy to play. after attempting to fix it for many hours over the course of a year & a half.. i give up. looking forward to playing origins on the switch, hopefully that helps.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is a very hard game for me to rate because there is genuinely a lot that is not good with it. With that being said, this is one of my favorite action RPGs in terms of the fun factor and combat and exploration carry basically all of the weight in that aspect.

Combat is fluid, weighty, environmentally interactive, and diverse. Enemy variety can dry up due to the density of encounters and it is very easy to overpower via levels but the unique feel of each vocation and ability variety make it an absolute blast to fight in most encounters.

Exploration isn't super rewarding in terms of loot but the way combat plays out can feel very organic in a way I never experienced in other games. Going out into the wilderness with your pawns genuinely inspired a feeling of going on an adventure and the tension, the intrigue, and the challenge all pooled together for a great experience.

With my former experience with Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, it was good that this was all I expected and wanted out of the series as it satisfied what I wanted out of the game. However, that's where most of my positives dry up.

The story is even less cohesive than the original title with a kind of cool overall theme that is accompanied by characters that feel unimportant and uninspired, poorly paced story quests, and a general lack of urgency or importance.

The graphics are pretty solid and the world carried a gritty, realism inspired fantasy look but it has an overall lack of diversity and interesting art direction. A lot of the world lacks the magnificence and wonder expected of the fantasy experience, instead replacing it with a plethora of scenic vistas that don't really tell a story.

For fans of the first entry in the series, Dragon's Dogma 2 feels a lot like a greater volume version of the original with none of the hoped for improvements. If you go in looking to fight a bunch of monsters in a fun and badass way, this game can be incredible, as it was for me. If you want more out of this game or something resembling a halfway decent experience as an RPG, it will probably be best to look elsewhere.

It's kind of fun messing around with creature creator. I've beaten the game a few times in the past
