The narrative is meh at best but the gameplay and level design is pretty strong. I would say this game works with permadeath on and if you are willing to switch out characters randomly every mission. But that doesn't solve the issue that you have played this game before.

This was the adventure that we didn't realize Kratos' life has always been building towards. I loved every second of it.

Certainly exceeded my expectations. I wasn't totally sold on the Combat but found the story to actually be very refreshing and full of heart. Hopefully a sequel can be made where we can experience playing as all of the Guardians and not just Star-Lord.

I hope this inspires a new more interesting approach to open world design from other developers. This is one of the most interesting worlds to explore and experience.

A game filled with so much personality and flavor that it stands apart from its influences as something truly special.

I would have preferred an Incredibles level as opposed to Big Hero 6.

When looking at the 5 stars I gave this game please try and disregard the little mermaid level. I am choosing to pretend that was a fever dream.

It has some Jank, but that Jank is covered in a Final Fantasy/Disney crossover that still feels unreal.

Sometimes I have nightmares that this game inspired more games to add needless tripping.

Most of the characters in this game are mass murders but they all still get bodied by Sly's first special move.

They should put the PlayStation All-Stars characters in this just for kicks.

This is like the bad version of that game Evil West.

Inspiring to see what British people go through everyday.

If this game was an off-brand creature collecting style game no one would be defending it.
