rip and tear (featuring underwhelming puzzles)

Nothing short of brilliant. Combines stealth and action perfectly to make a truly immersive experience, with unparalleled interactivity and worldbuilding.

a deeply upsetting experience. perfectly captures the feeling of bitter nostalgia - reminiscing over awful times. there are stories in this that are so beautiful it's absolutely insane.

could easily see this in 5 stars but i'm not sure how i feel about the way this game treats death. the core message feels like it's about accepting death, but it falls into a kinda common trope i see where the deaths are pointless and preventable. this isn't a huge fault but it does make me like the game a bit less. high recommendation though.

WOW that was interesting. even if the gameplay is pretty clunky (auto battling is not a good combat system), if you can get past how obtuse it is, there is a real hidden gem here. it's just a simple, fun and great time with a nice soundtrack.

interesting horror/adventure game. dated in some aspects, but still holds up in the atmosphere which is where it matters most. awesome cutscenes. recommended to fans of adventure games.

it's a short, non-consequential hello charlotte adventure...

but the vibes are so good here. i love it.

most thrilling arthritic experience of my life
GOAT 2d platformer

This Game Is Made Of Pure 100% Concentrated Silliness

glad to have finally played this classic, even if it didn't live up to all the hype. the story is cool, the exploration is whatever. my fav part is the combat, bosses especially. very challenging but rewarding. it's cool to experience this now considering how influential it was, but not really something i love a ton.

the music is like episode music so its emotional for me

good story. unique gameplay that gets repetitive. idk its good.

child labor laws aint got nothin on this

Well, now I feel empty.

GTA IV is a game I've struggled with for a long time. I've been playing it on and off for almost 3 years now, and today I finally finished it. (I got my least favourite ending, sadly.)

The story in this game is an obvious 10/10. I haven't played many games that tell a story this meaningful so well. However, the game design can be very frustrating at times. Bad AI, no checkpoints, mediocre driving...they don't ruin the experience, but they make it significantly worse.

It's still a great game despite its many flaws, and I would recommend it to just about anyone. I mean, it even made me cry a bit. Overall, GTA IV is a phenomenal game, but it leaves a lot to be desired.

not the best half-life experience, but still good. the game really picks up once it gets more fast paced, the slower atmospheric parts are cool but they're a bit of a drag to actually play. there's a solid amount of padding here which is unfortunate, cuz it really doesn't need it.

One of those games that just feels truly depressing to play. Not what most people wanted, but an artistic statement that will stand the test of time.

no substance here at all, it has a cool aesthetic but there's nothing interesting beyond the surface level. it's just a mindless platformer with mechanics that don't get fully explored at all
