I didn't love playing through it as much as some others, but I just can't get this out of my head for some reason. Genuinely a great game, the DLC is also scary as fuck. Recommended to those who like intricate puzzlers and existential dread.

losing my save file after 20 hours this is truly the dark souls of saving

an absolutely MADDENING masterpiece, with some of the best bosses i've ever had the pure agony of experiencing. a hauntingly beautiful nightmare.

incredibly unique and captivating first episode - the characters are all very memorable, and the writing is on point. a lot of the horror is implied which can make it way more compelling. i'm very excited to see where this goes.

the better episode. it's basically just more half-life 2 with some new stuff, and it works great. episode 1 had some weird experimentation but this just feels like what it should've been

postal 2 for women
this game is amazing. i do have some issues, like with certain routes not being as fleshed out and the lack of a choice map or skip button. hopefully these issues have been fixed in the sequel, but as it stands, this is one of the best written and most consistently funny games i have ever played. there's such a wide variety in the routes and them being so short makes it so it doesn't get tiring. i adore nicole, she's the perfect protagonist. fantastic.

utterly captivating, thought-provoking, and terrifying. hello charlotte is in a league above most other rpgmaker games, capturing the essence of the genre and putting it into an experience that's wholly engrossing. in under 2 hours this game manages to establish interesting characters, lore, and an overall sense of danger that is very compelling to play through. there were a few issues here and there, but this is a really, really solid title.

thank you, rose-engine! i am now actively depressed

very well done metroidvania. i love the art and feel, and the exploration is solid too. my main issue is that it can feel repetitive and aimless at times, and i also would've liked some more boss fights. otherwise though, really good

a deeply upsetting experience. perfectly captures the feeling of bitter nostalgia - reminiscing over awful times. there are stories in this that are so beautiful it's absolutely insane.

could easily see this in 5 stars but i'm not sure how i feel about the way this game treats death. the core message feels like it's about accepting death, but it falls into a kinda common trope i see where the deaths are pointless and preventable. this isn't a huge fault but it does make me like the game a bit less. high recommendation though.

god motherfluffing damn, they knocked it out of the park with this. everything good about the previous panzer dragoon games was amped up here, nothing is lost in the translation to an RPG. the story is beautiful, the combat feels awesome and fitting, and i gotta say it has one of the best endings of any game. absolute classicccccccccc

rip and tear (featuring underwhelming puzzles)

goodbye charlotte!

the best one. viscerally raw, emotive, and subversive. one of the best conclusions ever, hands down. a modern classic.

this game is just so good and there is literally nothing about it i can fault. it is a work of art. the ending left me speechless. it is the perfect conclusion to the series. in terms of story, soundtrack, and characters, it is the best in the series by far.

i'm so glad this game exists. i love it so much. it's brilliant. it took me by surprise.
