its not interactable or anything but there's always something to look at with all the monster depictions and sigils
every level in story mode has like a mockup kaiju movie poster that they show you during the loading screen. it's really cute
there's like a 1 in 100 chance that the fishing lure on the loading screen will turn into a Sonic one instead
for this game's loading screen, blueprints for various types of inventions are slowly drawn up while you wait. you can move the loading icon around the screen to act as an eraser for the blueprints. you can go nuts and erase the entire chalkboard as you wait

Happy to see Pokepark here, but I would also like to suggest the sequel! Those loading screens are cute as hell and the fact that they change when you get more party members is amazing.

I think Oddworld Abe's Oddysee deserves a shout just for "Abe's Oddysee is loading so get over it!"
this is such an underrated aspect of games thats kind of long gone now, which is a shame because it really added a lot of personality. two games that stick out to me is DMC3 letting you slash and shoot the "now loading" icon and Crash Tag Team Racing/Rampage Total Destruction giving you dedicated burp and fart buttons. i think Okami also gave you a button to bark a lot
