1999 - Honourable mention to Silent Hill, Crash Team Racing, Rayman 2, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and Ape Escape

2011 - Honourable mentions to Batman: Arkham City, Portal 2, Minecraft, Skyrim - Wow 2011, what a year for gaming

2013 - It's the Pirates of the Caribbean game we never got - Honourable mention to The Stanley Parable because I'm waiting for the Ultra Deluxe Edition to finally play it - Also no I'm not giving this to GTA V, it's gotten worse with age and the story was never anything special in the first place
2015 - Honourable mentions to Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, and God of War III: Remastered
2016
2017 - I've gotta get caught up on 2017 games - we all know this will probably end up changing to Super Mario Odyssey or Breath of The Wild...
2018 - Honourable mentions to God of War, Red Dead Redemption 2, Dark Souls: Remastered, and Spyro: Reignited Trilogy
2019 - Honourable mention for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
2020 - This may very well change to Ghost of Tsushima or Demon's Souls whenever I get around to playing them
2021 - This one will likely change to either Hitman III or Resident Evil Village whenever I get around to playing them
2022 - I loved Elden Ring but I really think God of War Ragnarok will overtake this when I play it
