A fantastic RPG and a classic for a reason

An incredibly charming fangame with a lot of heart put into it. For the price it's an absolute steal, and it's shockingly long I managed to log 60 hours in the main campaign alone and that's not counting the currently untranslated dlc. Absolutely lovely.

This is one of the most insane, crazy, heart pounding experiences I have ever had the pleasure to play. And its a 20 year old Touhou Soccer parody. 10/10 this is a genuinely amazing game.

Moutain of Faith is the single most Touhou the series ever gets. MOF is not my favorite Touhou game, mainly because I find the bomb system to really trivialize a lot of it, but the atmosphere, jaw dropping ost, an just fantastic theming on what gensokyo and gods are set it apart from the rest, it is very special.

Katamari is a game entirely its own. Nothing compares to it. Its silly, its funny, its charming. And its OST is shockingly incredible. It takes its weird concept of a marble that grows bigger as you hit stuff and takes it to the logical extreme. Great game.

A huge breath of fresh air for this franchise and it also has Hisuian Arcanine

As a Touhou game it sits first on my list (Not counting Mystia izakaya) This one is not a standard for Touhou but man is it an absolute blast. The OST is second only to Touhou 10 for me, fantastic game

NOTE: this currently only applies for UBW as Stay/Night was played last year . Holy shit dude, holy shit what a phenomenal story this game has. Every single character is so well written and expertly crafted, even the most despicable characters end up charming in some way (except Shinji). My personal favorites being Lancer and Berserker. The story of Emiya and Archer is so well done, its just fantastic all round. It is a Type Moon VN though, so there is some certified weird shit but overall amazing.

A Link to the Past is good, great even. It does very very little wrong. Its kind of hard to explain how this game just gets it right. It just doesn't do anything to blow me away in any specific way. Combined with some really lame later dungeons are its just very strong, instead of a 10 or a 9. An absolute classic despite this.

this is the fighting game ever. I am sure everyone has heard its praises by now. would be higher if I played more of it but unfortunately i haven't, its only going to climb as time goes on however.

Super fun rougelite that just feels nice to pick up and play. Suffers a bit from not having a huge amount of enemy variety. (also it has 85 cards. should have shot for 100!!)

A really charming game held back by some frustrating design choices and some archaic platforming

Wow do I suck at this game. The theme here is that Covid killing in-person interactions fucking sucked and I think that's neat. Like all Touhous its a really solid shump with banging music and super fun patterns.
This one functions somewhat like a rouge lite with each run being changed by what cards you buy at each boss. Some boost your power, some give you new abilities, some let you cheat death. Its a really fun system that means every run is just a little different.

A rad metroidvania but unfortunately its main gimmick keeps me from ever bothering to fully complete it. However, the soul catching mechanic is super cool for the rest of the game

This game is really fun! The spirit gimmick is a nice addition, though it can be a little annoying when they don't move in a way that helps you. I love the plot of this one, Reimu accomplishes nothing and slavery still exits in hell. good job Reimu

A very simple trade game carried by its super fun writing and cute art. If you like Touhou you'll like this its super well written.

A really solid sequel that improves vastly on the original, though I feel like it lacks a bit in areas I cannot place. Combined with a crazy story and I def need some more time with this one.

Technically speaking, I have never played Pokemon Gold specifically so on the list it goes! I love Johto, I really do, but boy is this region hard to replay sometimes. Clunky movepools, really annoying methods of catching pokemon, and the wacko level curve really hurt this game. Its still good of course, just the least good version out of three options.

a quirky fighter with a lot of personality. Some of the most expressive pixel art in the genre to this day. A real testament to CAPCOM in its prime.

A very charming Touhou spin off with an excellent cast that really expands these characters. Unfortunately it feels fairly rough and a bit too short.

A fantastic end to the series of weird little RPG maker games that this was. Its a deeply personally, deeply moving game that really just makes you have to sit and think a while. The big issue here is its clear this series 180s from whatever HC1 is to what HC3 is, but that is fine by me.

a nice little end off to the hello charlotte world

Hello Charlotte 2 is a much more than HC1 is, its themes, its story, Charlotte herself. It is a game that sort of hurts to get through but totally worth it. My biggest issue (aside from my dislike of its taste in gore) is the combat mechanic not only being tedious and unfun, but literally worthless to the game

a good game but a bit short and lacking in content

A really cute, self contained RPG maker horror title, I found it quite fun, it sort of completely loses itself in the greater series though, making it feel a bit pointless.

A fun little timewaster, worth its price but not much more. mowing down hoards of enemies is a blast but its grindiness made me drop it fairly quick

it is mario tennis, its simple its cute its fun. Its not mind blowing or anything

A game I really wanted to like but the outdated camera (Nintendo Online Version) really sunk it fast for me. Maybe I will try the xbox remaster at some point only time will tell.

A pretty fun take on the platform fighter genre. Only big issues are that randoms doubles are not very fun and it being F2P means I fear it may devolve into really bad pay to win in the future. Only time will tell though.

A charming little breakout game but it is clear this is someone's first attempt at a game. Music has been great from the start though.

this is really only here for completion, its practically not a game. I would have unranked it if not for the fact the remixed themes from the show make me enjoy it more than things below it.
