The second stupidest title for a game I have ever seen, behind Mortal Kombat 1. And yet, it's a surprisingly competent fangame with some of the most enjoyable boss fights I've experienced in a 2D Sonic game.

I kind of felt like bringing down the score because I don't particularly enjoy the all-range mode, but considering everything else this game has to offer and how many times I've replayed it... fuck it, 5 stars.

Fucking embarrassing compared to Star Fox 64. It's no wonder that this game still hasn't been ported to the Switch, let alone that the Star Fox series as a whole became dormant since its release.

Best presentation in the series by far, but the content leaves a lot to be desired. When ranking the Smash games, I would rather just ignore this one because it doesn't compare to later installments but also isn't necessarily bad.

Adventure Mode is overrated as hell, becoming more of a fixed Classic Mode after the Planet Zebes stage.
But it's fucking Melee, still standing as the peak of the series.

This would be the best game in the series by an enormous landslide, if only the gameplay wasn't inexcusably terrible.

The last good Smash game. Everyone rightfully sings their praises for Smash Run, but I also think that the game has the best implementation of Classic Mode, as well as a better stage lineup than Wii U.
Seriously, why the fuck did Ultimate bring back Pac-Land instead of Pac-Maze?

As much as I would like to call Ultimate the worst installment in the series, I have to acknowledge that this also exists. Just an empty husk of a Smash game, I have very little to say about it.

I dropped this as soon as I finished World of Light, and the more time which has passed since then, the more I hate the game.
I could go on a huge tandem about it, but let's just say that it's a textbook example of why "quantity over quality" is a shitty mentality to have.

Annoying quirks, like the lack of sorting Pikmin types or the unreliable A.I. of the Pikmin themselves, hold this back from being one of the most replayable games of all time. What a shame.

You will either really fucking love this game, or really fucking hate this game. (Un)fortunately I am of the latter camp, having thought so before a certain Youtube creator made that opinion more popular.
It just doesn't mesh well with the other mainline installments, and I hope Pikmin 4 doesn't repeat the same mistakes with its re-introduction of caves.

Perhaps it's a little too easy, but this is still one of the best games Nintendo has ever released, overflowing with charm at any given moment.

Aaaahhhh... a time in the video game industry when remakes were actually good instead of feeling like cheap nostalgia bait.

Perhaps it's a little too easy, but this is still one of the best games Nintendo has ever released, overflowing with charm at any given moment.
...gee, didn't I say the same thing about Pikmin 3?

Possibly the best multiplayer FPS which isn't a Source Engine game. That is saying a lot.
Though I do miss those precious few days where I could play assignment missions with more than 4 players.
