Extra star for heritage value but imagine going to the arcade in 1983 and playing this instead of Spy Hunter?

This is the first video game I ever played on the family sega 30 years ago, have not touched it since maybe 2003. Holds up way better than I’d expected - the platforming is extremely tight with so many little design touches. The music whips, the art whips, and the game is lush with little thoughtful design details.

A lot of classic gamer moments to be had on GTA V online

Feels deeper than I have patience for but great execution & art

Without a background in MtG I may not have enjoyed this as much but the crossover skill was satisfying and I really enjoyed how different each character played

Truly loved this - mainlined it during the pandemic, was a great distraction. Charming neverending quality to the story that usually turns me off of JRPGs, in this case well executed and keeps you engaged

Captivating CRPG - easy to sink a lot of time into

2022

You know a puzzle game is good when you start debating whether you should decypher a fabricated language or not

Strong top-down design… art style/aesthetic, gameplay, puzzles and spookiness were all top tier. Short and sweet

Really fun - would replay.. will have to check out shovel knight dig
