The best 3D Zelda.

My personal favorite PlayStation game.

You can skip Metroid 2. Metroid 3 shows its age, but remains a core title in the metroidvania genre.

Optionally the HD version on the WiiU.

Content rich and classic.

I personally recommend playing this with the MaternalBound Redux ROM hack. I really love this game after having played it.

It's hard to go wrong with this one.

Before Pizza Tower, we had this.

Or, optionally the GBA version. Extra dungeon and some minor QoL changes.
IMO the best 2D Zelda.

Metroid 1 if it was good

Metroid 4. More linear but still a Metroid game at its core.

Chrono Trigger's loosely related sequel. It would be good to play Chrono Trigger first, but it's not necessary. A very unique battle system and a neat story.

My least favorite.

If you don't like planes, you might not be into it. But if you do, every Ace Combat on the PS2 is a treat to play. I can't choose between Zero and 04.

I wouldn't shame you for playing with rewind.

Metroid, but also Kirby.
