A game about ending and new beginnings would give me a lot of peace understanding that cosmically endings are a part of existence. Being able to look at the characters and their perspectives on things coming to an end would allow me to walk into the apocalypse with a content understanding that the end is inevitable and that's ok.

Ridge Racer Type 4. gaming nostalgia with my brother and a source of great comfort. i would also like to say Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage, but i don't want to crowd recommendations... pick whichever you prefer!

If we're saying that the internet still exists in the apocalypse, I would pick Destiny. I have so many great memories playing this with my wife, and playing solo I could easily sink a ludicrous amount of time into this game.
Now if we're saying there is no internet, I would go with Final Fantasy VII. This is the one game that I, as a gamer, I know I should play, but have been putting it off for years. If the world truly was to come to an end, this would be the game to go out on.
