I thought I heard the Old Man say
"Leave her, Johnny, leave her"
Tomorrow ye will get your pay
And it's time for us to leave her

Leave her, Johnny, leave her
Oh, leave her, Johnny, leave her
For the voyage is long and the winds don't blow
And it's time for us to leave her

Oh, the wind was foul and the sea ran high
Leave her, Johnny, leave her
She shipped it green and none went by
And it's time for us to leave her

Leave her, Johnny, leave her
Oh, leave her, Johnny, leave her
For the voyage is long and the winds don't blow
And it's time for us to leave her

I hate to sail on this rotten tub
Leave her, Johnny, leave her
No grog allowed and rotten grub
And it's time for us to leave her

Leave her, Johnny, leave her
Oh, leave her, Johnny, leave her
For the voyage is long and the winds don't blow
And it's time for us to leave her

We swear by rote for want of more
Leave her, Johnny, leave her
But now we're through so we'll go on shore
And it's time for us to leave her

Leave her, Johnny, leave her
Oh, leave her, Johnny, leave her
For the voyage is long and the winds don't blow
And it's time for us to leave her

As like an actual fighting game it's pretty bad with very poor balance and mechanics that were intentionally designed to be anti competitive, but it's fun playing something like Subspace casually, which as a lot of charm both in it's bosses and cutscenes.

I'm not a big fan of parries and it has questionable balance but there is a lot to like about it.

Don't let people fool you this version is still bad.

Don't particularly care for the bosses or having to go through stages again to get more money if you didn't get enough toppings on the first run but a pretty fun game overall, movement and level design feel great and there aesthetics and music are very well done.

The mechanics are rock solid but everything else surrounding it is either bland (like the music) or just completely unappealing to me (like the attempt to turn Street Fighter into a single player open world RPG in the World Tour)

Moral of the story: Have sex with your aunt.

Interesting game for how different it is from the console Mario games of the time, but the ideas are kind of held back because of the stiff feeling controls.

Pretty enjoyable shoot em up, has a more traditional progression with checkpoints and no credits system and is a fairly long as these games go, visuals and music are pretty appealing like the first game was.

I like the upgrade system as a way to encourage clearing enemy waves in lieu of a regular scoring system. There are also a few secret areas that let you unlock extra stuff like weapons which feel cool to find.

Main issues I had were that sometimes the graphics got in the way of the game and stuff would sometimes fly in off screen and hit you in a way you couldn't predict.

Game for big dick players only

Defo an improvement on the first game, controls feel a bit tighter and it still has the weird "not Mario" feeling streak that the first game has that makes both of them interesting. the rabbit power up is definitely a little OP though.

Definitely a step up from 7, being able to directly move around during battle does add extra depth to the combat, like crits from back attacks etc. that reward good positioning. Though I still prefer beat em up gameplay at the end of the day.

I enjoyed the story a lot, also felt like a step up from 7 in that department. Liked the new party members a lot and most of the villains aside from maybe 1 were pretty good.

The ending was pretty great as well aside from them not doing 1 thing I really wish they did.

I am interested in seeing where the series goes from here but I'm definitely at the point where the gameplay in the main series is something I mostly tolerate outside of some standout moments to get to the story and characters. Hope they're cooking up some beat em up side games.

Really unique platformer, was definitely enjoying how the mechanics felt pretty much instantly even if I still think I need a bit more learning on them. level design was pretty well done and varied, main issue I had was that I didn't really enjoy

the boss fights. Boss fights in platformers like these always feel like boring pace breakers that don't really have much to do with the core gameplay, there are some that are better than other but I think the game would be better without them.
