When 95% of video game writing sucks, you never expect the Nazi killing DOOM clone to have a strong script.
If I were to play this again (just for fun), I'd probably drop the difficulty some. I'm sure it's a skill issue, but on "I am Death Incarnate," even the grunts were shredding me. I felt slightly less like a badass because of this. Next time I'm either playing Uber, getting all the achievements, and losing my mind, or I'm cruising on Game Journalist difficulty and enjoying the fantastic set pieces this game has to offer.
Game is good. You can kill Nazis with two guns at once. Game is good.

I think what makes this game work really well are the items. They add some level of strategy to the game that makes it feel like everything isn’t up to chance. Of course, a lot of it is, but the items let you increase the odds of winning by using them strategically.
I had a good time with it. It’s a short and sweet game that’s a lot of fun.

I mean it's good but it's not as close to being as good as the first two seasons. We're seeing a completely different Clem this time around, which felt a little bit off at first. Almost none of the character are likable imo, and the narrative was the weakest aspect of this season. Gameplay mechanics and cutscenes continue to improve with each season.
This is a pretty fun game overall! Very nice and peaceful, more of an experience than a game. The achievements and 100% are very fun, and the game is also available on Game Pass!
The visuals are perfect and the controls are intuitive, even on a controller and not a keyboard. The audio gets the job done well and the subtle narrative woven throughout is nice to have.
Overall, this game is definitely worth playing and, even though it's not life changing or anything, it's a good time and puts a smile on my face.

For a game that predates the heights of the survival horror genre, I'm impressed at how well it holds up. It's certainly held back by the limitations of the hardware and the point-and-click gameplay, but it manages to tell a haunting, shocking, and compelling story nonetheless. It does become a little less challenging after your first go through, since not a whole lot of it is variable... but if you're a fan of horror, it's worth a look and worth playing more than once to see the different possible endings.

This is the best Halo game. The story is beautiful and very simple to follow. You die for Reach, a warrior's death. It's beautiful. A perfect send off as Bungie would fade off into the Sun. Cough cough we don't talk about the dumpster fire that was Destiny 1 N 2. Back to the topic though, these 10 levels are diverse in location, beautiful to look at, and most importantly they're hella fun to play. Speaking of hella fun to play, I gotta mention Multiplayer in every which way! Firefight is a great mode to turn your brain off to and just rack up points mowing down the Covenant horde. Multiplayer mode made some of my teenage nights during the pandemic. Griffball is hilarious, TDM is still smooth like butter, and Big Team Battle's were on some Lord of the Rings level type-ish. I love this game. Unfortunately, 360 servers went down 2022, but I was on the ship right before it sank. It has a very special place in my heart as during the pandemic, It was one of the only active 360 servers. Amazing nights spent on this game. Still, it must end, as the flame dies and turns into "Ashes" (Soundtrack is kino).
So I completed this game (both endings) alongside the Chris free dlc. I want to say I initially had negative thoughts about this game because of how they changed a lot of things, including the first person camera. I can't say that is a choice I like.
To me, this game (at least most of it) felt like an Outlast 2 with a gun! Which is ironic considering Outlast 2 came out a few months later.
It definitely did not fail when it came to horror ambiance and, since it's one of my favorite genres, I was not unhappy about that. The game does make you stressed and forces you to be on high alert... I think that's amazing for a game to accomplish that. Still, I've been a fan of this franchise for many years and so I was attached to the mainline characters, I didn't really feel anything for Ethan so I'm not giving this game 5 stars. Loved the concept of Mia and Zoe as characters, so I think it's just Ethan (sorry man).
It was a great game, though. I like it when Survival Horror games focus more on the horror part. Felt more different than regular RE but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
P.S.: Resident Evil 1 broken shotgun!!!
