My Favorite Video Game Series
These are my personal favorite video game franchises represented by what I consider their best game. This list doesn't necessarily indicate sustained quality, nor do I take into account the total number of games within a series.
For instance, there is a good chunk of Final Fantasy games I do NOT like, while I consider Resident Evil to be the most consistently great franchise of all time. However, the peaks are so high in FF, that I still consider it to be my #1 overall and higher than RE. An overwhelming number of "bad entries" may not drag the franchise down my list - this isn't an average of them all, but a purely subjective ranking based on my own enjoyment of the "good/great" games that make up the series.
The only qualifier I'll add is that for it to be added to my list, there must at least be 3 games in the series, and I must have played at least 3 of them.
