I have only allowed myself to say this on one of these games, so here it is: THIS GAME FUCKING SLAPS
I'm not sure how well it's narrative has aged, though it may have said something interesting in 2012, but the gameplay loop of this series is something that just satisfies me on a visceral level just... deep, deep in my gut.
Unshockingly, this game is on a best of decade list.
Hot take: this game is better than A Link to the Past.

HITMAN finally feels like it's ascending. The recent games are the best the series has ever been, hands down.
