What begun as a personal enquire has turned into this... and it isn't even finished!

The site's new update has brought a ton of interesting features, one of which being able to sort and look up the games from publishers and developers more easily, which sparked in me the curiosity to see the best rated game of many of them, and I thought it could actually make a pretty interesting thing to compilate and turn into a list!

Games, Remasters, Remakes, Expansions, DLCs, they are all fair game and each of them are elegible, the ones that I won't count being either bundles of already released content or collections of various indivudal games, if those are the highest rated game of a certain company, they'll be ignored and the next elegible game will be added (unless said bundle or collection introduces new major content that is, in which case it can count). Also, as many things, ratings change, and so I'll try to update this list as well as to add more games from major and independent developers, and of course, suggestions in the comments as well as corrections if anything is wrong are more than welcomed! Also, unless speficfied otherwise, if only one company is featured on the note, it means it's both developer and publisher, and if there are two featured for the same game, the one on the left will be the developer and on the right the publisher.

The purpose of this list it's not to venerate or celebrate multimillion dollar conglomerates, but rather to have another way to look and discover extremely loved games and learn about those who had a hand in their making, so with that said, thank you for checking this out and be free to leave any suggestion in the comments!
