Childhood In Gaming
I was dreaming when I wrote this, so forgive me if I go astray.
I believe most people have been chronicling their gaming journey up to high school, so that's what I've decided to do as well, sticking with titles I really remember pouring time into. Gonna try and stick with games I distinctly remember for one reason or another instead of dropping and only then getting into way later in life (so no Jak 1 as an example). Also gonna make notes if I made reviews for the entry or if I have something worth sharing!

Don't believe those who say it's fine to play this with the Restored Content Mod as a first time playthrough.
Playing this at a Nickelodeon hotel one day was one of the most formative memories I have

I don't think it's quite as mindblowing as fans make it out to be but I do agree with some this gets a bit unfairly maligned for numerous reasons.
Although I get not liking the controls, even without factoring the Wiimote and just using Dolphin's input mapping features.

First Final Fantasy game I ever played
Play Crystal instead of this remake that barely addresses the (numerous!) issues of Gen 2

One of few games on here where I disliked it the more I replayed it.
I have no fucking clue as to why I was so into this subseries...
Imma be honest, both endings here still get me emotional, ESPECIALLY Hero.
This was the first FPS I played, so you can pinpoint most of what I look forward in the genre thanks to this.
worst Bungie Halo ez but community stuff was still cool
Prime instance of a game's "age" not exactly being crucial to its factor cause this was always subpar, the sequels just took the formula and made them actually workable!

@MobileSpider Whenever people try to talk about best Pokemon games and bring it up, I... well actually given the nature of the franchise it's silly to get that confused about it, but I do wonder how many people have replayed it later in life. I always have trouble replaying mainline Pokemon nowadays, yet I can't even make much progress in Heartgold whennI stop. Shame, cause I like the Pokeathelon and Lyra's a great addition.
