-Not be DLC, an expansion, a collection, or a chapter.
-Be the most played version of the game it's representing. In the case where an alternate version* of a game has more plays than the original version, the original version is listed as a note.
*I use Glitchwave to determine what should be considered an alternate version of a preexisting game, since to my knowledge it has the most comprehensive version combining out of any game database.

Would've thought AW would go in much higher. Various youtubers calls it basically a transcendent masterpiece and impressions on various message boards almost universally praises it. Seems like it's gonna fall out of this list very soon when it enters that low.

Spider-Man 2 entered this list 8 months ago at 19th place. Now, it's already gone from the list. Has to be one of the largest change of opinions in such a short time for any game ever. For comparison's sake. Alan Wake 2 entered the list around the same time and it's 13th now. Reload, Rebirth and Inifine Wealth all entered this list just a few months later, and they're all still in the top 35.
