Doing my best to catalogue the Top 250 games on Backloggd as of 11/05/23. I try to calculate the placements as best I can, since different editions have their own pages & scores, but by default, I'm going to rank everything based off of the highest rating it has between all of its versions. Remakes will be separate, depending on how different the remakes are (again, very subjective here, I'm doing my best)

Some expansions count as their own game (Final Fantasy XIV expansions), some don't (Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye). The decisions on how I split them is really more of an art than a science, but basically I try to judge if the content can be played on its own or if it's part of the rest of the experience. I welcome feedback on it!

Still not sure how to handle episodic games!
